Kalle blow dries her monkey's hair- not wearing a shirt because we were about to put her church clothes on!
I have NO IDEA why she would be naked in this picture!
Kalle doing elmo's hair...Yay- fully clothed!!!
Kalle finger painting. No clothes because I didn't want finger paint all over them!
Playing with Daddy! Atleast she has a shirt on!
First, thanks for all of you who took my quiz! It was fun to see your guesses. If I am not mistaken (I could be), I think it was AnnaMarie who got the most correct with six. That even beats Brandt who only got five (he says I cheated and used weird "pregnancy" answers.)
Anyway, I have been depriving my kids of the great outdoors (and somewhat cooler AZ weather...yay 95 degrees) since I have been so sick. We mostly just stay inside- if we aren't at either grandma's house. Kalle has been a little trooper coming up with some pretty funny ways to entertain herself. Here are a few pics.
P.S. I have gotten a few comments on how my kids are never dressed. They really do have clothes- Sorry!

Oakley had his very first popsicle today. As you can see, he not only enjoyed eating it, but he also enjoyed rubbing all over his face and head. He is growing up so fast. Today he ate almost a whole banana all by himself (luckily, he only choked one time). Tomorrow he'll be going to college! Here is also a cute picture of Kalle. She lined up some of her "babies" for a nap and then
decided to join them-- she cracks me up!! (BTW- How come no one has taken my fun quiz???)

Yes, it's true. We are expecting number three around April. I am almost ten weeks along, and we would have waited longer to tell, but I am so incredibly sick that it was too hard to keep quiet. I am way sicker with this one than I was with either Kalle or Oakley... yuck! And although this pregnancy wasn't planned, we are excited (well I am... Brandt is still in shock).

After Oakley has been sick for a week, Kalle decided it was her turn. On Tuesday after naptime, she started throwing up. She continued through the night and into Wednesday. Luckily she knows where to throw up so I didn't have very much cleanup. She just spent most of her time laying on the couch. Here are some pictures of our last couple of days stuck at home. The one time I did take her out, you can see how much she enjoyed it. We had to go to the cell phone store. She stretched out on a bench the whole time. I included the picture of her in the bathtub because she spent about a third of her sick days in there getting cleaned up. When she was feeling a little better, she was back to her normal self playing and being silly. I sure do love that

We have had a pretty long weekend here in the Palmer home. Oakley has had a pretty bad temp for about 4 days now. He is happy when he is on meds and pretty cranky when he is not. Kalle is still our little firecracker. She sure does say the cutest thing. Here is a conversation she had in the car with her dad today:
Dad: Kalle, I have the hickups... hickup
Kalle: Dad, you hickuped, and I am tooty!
Oakley's new favorite thing is saying "Dada" over and over again. He thinks he is so great that usually he claps for himself after he says it. We sure are having fun with these two! Hopefully Oakley will feel better soon!

Kalle, Oakley, and I took cousin Makenna to McDonalds last week for her birthday. Kalle had a lot of fun playing and eating with her cousin. She got a little nervous in the playplace and I had to go get her, but besides that, the trip was a success. Afterwards we went back to Brit and Tricia's and played with all the kids after school. Cousins are so much fun!
For Labor Day, Dad Ferrell took everyone to Chuck E. Cheese. It was so fun to be there with the whole family and watch all the grandkids play and have fun together. Kalle loved all the rides, and Oakley loved all the good food (jell-o... yummy) We stayed and played for about 2 hours before the kids (and parents) were exhausted and ready for a nap. Kalle was too afraid of Chuck the mouse to get a picture. As you can see by Jaxon looking the other direction, he wasn't too fond of the idea himself. Kalle chose a little makeup case with all different colors of lipstick for her prize. Oakley is reaping the benefits of this too (kalle has been putting lipstick on everythign possible including her little brother).

Uncle Tyler and Aunt AnnaMarie came to visit from Wisconsin this weekend. Kalle only took a few minutes to warm up to them, and was their little shadows from then on. She loved to sit with AnnaMarie and snuggle and talk to Baby Katie (in AnnaMarie's tummy). She even loved to sit with and play with Uncle Tyler through all the teasing. T and A left this morning and Kalle has already asked when she will see them again. Hopefully one day they will live a little closer! Uncle Scott and Aurora also came to visit for the long holiday weekend. Kalle sure loves Aurora because Aurora is so good with her.
