Unpacking: A big job, but somebody's gotta do it!

Yes, unpacking has become my life. I have not enjoyed it as much as I thought I would, mostly because it is next to impossible with Kalle and Oakley around. So I try to do it while they are awake (not much gets done) and then do a lot while they sleep. While they sleep I am pretty exhausted myself though, so I am not as efficiant as I could be. I would say I am over half done though which feels very good. We still do not have our computer set up, so I have not been able to upload the MANY MANY pictures I have accumulating on my camera. On a side note, I nevre knew how dependant I am on the internet until now. Probably 20-30 times a day I will say to myself, I really need to do this (map quest something, get a business's phone number, BLOG something, look something up about pregnancy- the list could go on and on) and I realize I can't because I have no computer. How did we ever live without it? How did anyone get information on any subject they were wondering about that day? I am spoiled and feel very blessed to have so much information at my finger tips (literally). Anyway, once we get the comp set up I will post about the going ons of the past few weeks so you can have visuals with them. Now to continue the things I am grateful for:

Something I am thankful for #3- The Gospel
Sometimes I think that, even though I have my share of challenges, I really do have it DANG good. I was born on the earth in a free country. I have a family who loves me. I have never known hunger, thirst, disease or a real want for life's needs. I have a good eduaction. Not only all of these wonderful things, but I have the best thing in the entire world. I have the gospel. I try and say thank you for this daily. I am so blessed. I am not going to go into details of why I am thankful for it, because everyone who reads this blog (I think) knows what I mean... If you don't ask me because I would love to tell you!

Anyway, I have got to go back home. Just wanted to watch survivor ( we dont have any rabbit ears for our TV yet). And wasn't it GOOD!

It is over... We have moved... kind of

Well, I am thrilled to say that all of our stuff has been moved out of our apartment and into our new HOUSE!!! You don't know how good it feels to say that. I am sick of having no room for the kids to play inside, no backyard for them to play in, no room for ANYTHING, no windowes in the kitchen, boxes piled up in every corner, closet, cupboard, and storage area because you have no more room to unpack everything... and it is OVER! Even though we got everything moved on friday (thank you, thank you to all who showed up to move us), we aren't going to actually sleep there for the first time tonight because we won't have the water turned on until sometime today. SO even though our house is pretty much un-livable because of box after box piled on top of eachother... it is pretty exciting. After moving all of our stuff, the common reaction was "how on earth did all of this fit into your TINY apartment... which I really don't know the answer to. All I know is that EVERYTHING is now going to have a place it belongs, I have natural light shining into every room, and my kids will not get childhood obesity now because they actualy have space and room to move and play. Now comes the exciting part... unpacking. I hate to pack (ask Brandt... he actually did most of it), but am excited to unpack everything. It will be like an early Christmas because most of this stuff I have not seen for about a year (see the part about not enough room to unpack everything). Hopefully it will not take me longer than a week or two... we will see.

So to make a long story short... I have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. I have decided to name a few:
1. A wonderful husband who loves me enough to move in the middle of his first semester of law school (and a week before finals for that matter). He is AMAZING. I have never met someone so honest, dedicated to the gospel, or a better example. He is good looking, smart (smarter than me... I know that is not saying much), and one of the hardest workersI know. He is anti-drama... meaning he doesnt get jealous, like to fight, or play silly mind games. I just absolutely LOVE this guy.
2. My children. Boy are kids more hard work than I would have ever guessed. But or so worth it. They are pretty much my life right now... and I couldn't be more lucky. Kalle is way too smart for her age and is always making me laugh. She loves the new baby in my tummy and is always talking/singing to it, giving it hugs and kisses, and telling everyone she meets "my momma has a baby in her tummy!" Although it is sometimes hard that she always wants to be with me, it is also very sweet and touches my heart. Oakley is my little love bug. He is so tender hearted, you even look at him wrong, and it will hurt his feelings (don't get this mixed up with wousy (sp?) because I would say he is not). He will come up and give me a hug or a kiss every so often just because. And the cutest thing about him is that he thinks his sister is the best thing in the WORLD. She walks past him and he smiles. She runs by him and it makes him laugh. He sees her and he grins from ear to ear. He wants to be anywhere that she is and doing anything she does.

Well, I plan to add to this list through the next couple days. I also have quite a fw events to blog about, but I want to wait until I have our compter up and running so I can add the pictures. So I am sorry that I have been away fromt he blog for so long, but I AM BACK!

We are moving!!!

Sorry for not posting recently, but we have been pretty busy. We are moving to north Mesa in ONE WEEK, and I have been a little stressed out getting ready for it. But I promise, once the move has taken place, we will be back to the blogging world!
