The kids and I left for a month long vacation on Tuesday. We had the PERFECT start to our vacay by stopping in Las Vegas to stay with one of my dearest friends Becca. I was a little nervous to bring my three kids to team up with her two kids and stay in their house (sometimes my kids are crazy crazy), but it ended up just wonderful (craziness and all). I was planning on staying 1 or 2 days, but we were having so much fun that Becca talked us into staying 4 (believe me, it didn't take much convincing!). The kids had fun playing (and tormenting), and I had such a blast just chilling and chatting with Becca. Thank you, thank you Becca for an amazing stay!
The car ride there took about 7 hours with construction, lunch, and stretching breaks. It wasn't too terrible though.
The splash pad:
Brennen and Casen are only 3 months apart (Brennen is a monster), and it was fun to see them interact.
Fun outside. I wish I would have gotten a pic of Oakley on this with Brinley because that is how it usually was.
Becca and I had an awesome night out on the town. We went shopping, had dinner, and then toured the strip (per my request).
Dinner was amazing. We went to a place in Vegas famous for their interesting, yet scrumptious entrees. Although we did not get the chicken and waffles (chicken ON TOP of waffles), the person next to us did, and Becca swears it's delicious!
We started with fried green tomatoes. It came with a slice of watermelon on the bottom, and the tomatoes stacked on top layered with chicken salad- really yummy!
